I just got a job at Superpharm. I'm
working at Superpharm to improve my Hebrew and my Hebrew has improved
dramatically. My coworkers are enthusiastic and fun to be around. I
even got a high five at work and people always tell me Batslacha
בהצלחה
which means good luck. It
is hard when the customers speak to you rapidly in Hebrew with an
impatient attitude. Ein Savlanut אין
סבלנות, no patience.
Maybe I should write a Hebrew blog. It would be a lot shorter. I
can't wait to be able to express myself in Hebrew. Maybe one day...
Soon I will be in cita bet which for my
English speaking friends means level 2. I was told the class was full
via email-just this and nothing more. Israelis are so direct. So
what do I do? I do what some Israelis do, I push until I get what I
want. I go through the window, forget the back door. I talked with
the secretary and told her I already paid and that I really want to
be in this class. She finally said I could join in 2 weeks.
Success.
